GenesisCare is a large, multi-disciplinary cancer network with locations throughout the US with their main representation in Florida. While offering destination locations and coastal living, GenesisCare’s recruitment faced two main challenges: 1) Identifying fellowship-trained, sub-specialists (often smaller candidate pools) that possess a niche, Oncologic skillset to fulfill the multi-disciplinary approach to care 2) Finding individuals that are committed to long-term growth, despite the vacation surroundings.

Solution

GenesisCare and Enterprise Medical Recruiting started the search by arranging a search initiation call to clearly identify candidate parameters, clinical expectations, and recruiting process. Continuous, open, and honest dialogue between Enterprise Medical and GenesisCare’s leadership team, led by Co-Chiefs of Surgery Dr. Orr and Dr. Hill, determined clear boundaries, facilitated a smooth process, and lightning quick reactions to changing dynamics.

Result

Within the first 6 months of starting recruitment efforts, GenesisCare was able to fill two crucial Urology and Breast Surgery needs with candidates that had ties to the state, possess a go-getter attitude, and offer longevity in the role.
